James Mackenzie:
James Mackenzie is well known to children across the UK as
“Raven” in the BBC Scotland production of the same name.
This highly popular children’s programme, which is currently showing on CBBC
in the UK and on BBC Kids in Canada, has won two Children's BAFTA awards as Best
Entertainment Series in 2006 and 2003 for the previous year's shows. In the show,
James plays an ancient Scots Warlord “Raven” who encourages young people to do
their best in very challenging situations. Five series of "Raven" have been broadcast
to far, and a sixth is set to be shown at a later date.
James trained at Queen Margaret College Edinburgh, graduating in 2002 with a BA Acting Distinction.
Alongside "Raven", he has developed a rich and varied career with a range of theatre appearances across Scotland
and television appearances in “Rebus” and “Taggart”.
Dr Rosalie Wilkie
Dr Wilkie is a General Paediatrician with an interest in Oncology and Haematology. She trained at Edinburgh University
and thereafter in hospitals in Edinburgh, Dundee and Toronto. Dr Wilkie has worked in Tayside for 24 years at Ninewells
Hospital and Perth Royal Infirmary.
