Parents
With Fairy Boxes in place, parents can ask ward staff to help them
choose a gift from the Fairy Box and their child should be able to receive
their gift the same day.
Where parents are absent from the ward, nursing staff or play staff can choose
a gift for a child on their behalf. The age range of gifts is mostly between the
ages of 2 to 12 years of age. We also try to provide gifts for teenagers between
the ages of 13 and 16 years of age.
A Fairy Box gift is a gift to keep so that fairy magic is always associated with the gift.
If and when you feel able to share your child’s experience of the Fairy Box gift,
we would love to hear from you.
