Fund Raising and Donations
If you would like to become a fundraiser for the Fairy Box, or make
a donation, we have contacts in Dundee, Glasgow, Perth, Edinburgh,
and Aberdeen, who would be pleased to hear from you. We are also looking
for volunteers from around Scotland to help us fulfil our wish to be able to provide
a Fairy Box for every children’s ward in the country.
If you think you can help or would like some help with fundraising ideas, please do
get in touch. Help us to spread and sustain this very special blend of Fairy Magic.

If you are donating toys to a Fairy Box, here are some things to keep in mind:
(a) Please only provide gifts which are new and unused
(b) Toys, games, puzzles, dvds, storybooks, posters for ages one to twelve
(c) They should be shrink wrapped, boxed or in polythene bags (especially soft toys)
to minimise the risk of infection
(d) Think about some gifts for quiet times as children may have little energy to play
(e) We also seem to be short of boys toys – so think of two gifts for boys
to every gift for a girl
(f) Gifts for older children are often needed too, so some gifts for 13 to 16-year-olds
are worth considering
(g) Fairy themed gifts are very popular
(h) Toys which involve imaginative play, making and doing are very popular too
(i) Small battery operated night lights are useful
(j) Get your children, nieces and nephews and grandchildren to advise you on what is hot
Most of all, have fun, because that’s part of the magic when it reaches an ill child.

Most of the gifts which we purchase through Fairy Box for ill children usually cost between £5 and £10. If you would like to
make an on-line donation and are a UK taxpayer we can claim gift-aid tax relief from the government to make your donation go even further.
